On the day 21^st January this year, the representatives of the City Council and the Foundation in the presence of notary signed the authenticated deed of transfering the area stated in act number  XXXIII/331/13 from 1^st of October 2013 of the Brzeszcze City Council. The Foundation obtained for use a part of the area which contains original objects of infrastructure belonging to ex sub camp Jawischowitz (Lamp post and the bath building).

This is the first, and key real estate for the activity of the Foundation. In the camp system of KL Auschwitz, sub camp Jawischowitz was one of the places which took many lives.

Accordingly to it's statute, the Foundation will take care of the place, tell it's story and keep it safe. The undertaken cooperation with the authorities of Brzeszcze Council is the much needed backup for us, and the gained trust motivates us for hard work and action.
